Reiki is simply a natural form of hands-on healing
It's power lies in the attunements from a Reiki Master
The name 'Reiki' was given by Dr Usui to describe the energy used.
Similar symbols and healing techniques have been found over the world, some going back thousands of years in Tibet, Egypt, Japan, and ancient cultures in Southern India. So it is an ancient tradition.
All living things on this planet contain Life Force Energy.
Reiki is the key to the Universal Life Force Energy.
And the 'key' is in a series of attunements passed from Reiki Master to student, which opens and clears a channel for a higher more powerful frequency of light energy to flow through the Initiate.
When stress fades, peace replaces it and the body’s natural means of repair can work more efficiently.
With each attunement the Master also is reattuned.
To have a Reiki treatment is a very calming and deeply relaxing experience.
The Sanctuary is prepared before your visit to be a safe and loving space for you. You are at all times fully clothed and either sitting or lying down whilst the healer places their hands in a series of positions on or just above the body enabling the life force energy to do it's healing work.
Reiki magnifies the body's own natural ability to heal itself, and greatly enhances the work of traditional and alternative medicine.
For example ...
* a fractured bone was seen by X-ray to be healed after 3 weeks in plaster instead of the usual 6.
* Cancerous tumours have virtually disappeared in a client having Reiki with their orthodox treatment.
* Recovery from a major operation was smooth and fast assisted with Reiki healing.
* The side effects of traditional Cancer treatment, chemotherapy and radiotherapy were minimalised with Reiki.
It's used to heal dis-eases holistically on all levels, mental, physical, spiritual and emotional.
